 Gartmore Falls

Gartmore Falls is located in Maskeliya, Nuwara Eliya. It is 25 meters high and is also known as "Sri Pada Falls" or "Adam's Peak" as it is located close to the holy mountain of Sri Pada. Located within the Gartmore Estate, Gartmore Falls falls into Muskeliya Reservoir. It is fed by two streams which join above Gartmore Falls.Located within the Gartmore Estate, Gartmore Falls falls into Muskeliya Reservoir. It is fed by two streams which join above Gartmore Falls. Each of these streams forms a waterfall before joining and is located within the Gartmore estate. Named Upper Gartmore Falls and Lower Gartmore Falls, these two waterfalls are collectively known as Gartmore Estate Waterfalls or Gartmore Falls.

Arrival at Gartmore Falls

 From Nuwara Eliya take the Avissawella - Hatton - Nuwara Eliya highway and take the Hatton - Maskeliya - Dalhousie road past Nanuyo, Kotagala, Hatton and Dikoy to Maskeliya. At Maskeli, turn onto Gartmore Road and follow this road to reach Gartmore Falls
