6 Paths to Siripadya Pilgrimage

 6 Paths to Siripadya Pilgrimage

During the Siripa pilgrimage season, there are six ways for devotees from far-flung areas to please Siripa. But only three main roads have electricity, sanitation, ambalams (free resting places) and security. That is Hatton Road, Kuruwita Eratne and Ratnapura Palabaddala roads only. If possible, worship Siripa from these three roads and enjoy the beauty of those different roads.

Deraniyagala Maliboda Road and Halugasthana Mookkuwatta Road join Kuruwita Eratne Road. Marewatta Road or Rajamale Road joins Hatton Road near the Hatton Road sluice post. The important places encountered while traveling on different roads are different depending on the roads.

If you are going to Siripa Kerafu for the first time, it is advisable to use the middle of the week. There are more people on the weekend. It is better when the rainy season of December is over. Similarly, it is better to use a day after the month of February.
